New digital camera

Last night I finally broke down and went and got me a new digital camera. Now I can start doing some video coverage of our rock hunts. This will be so cool I can't wait for nice weather to come around again. I think I'm starting to get cabin fever already because I'm going crazy (haha). Soon I'll post some more pictures of some more of my rock collection with my new camera. Talk to you all soon.

Meteor shower coming

The Leonid meteor shower is expected to produce a strong outburst this weekend for North America and Western Europe. Activity is expected to start around 11:45 pm ET Saturday in Europe. This correspondes to 4:45 GMT. People on the east coast where as people on the west coast may have trouble catching it. No special equipment needed just dress warm grab a chair and face the east and watch the show. Keep your eye open all weekend for peeks at the show. till next time.

Saddam Hussein Sentenced to Hang.

Finally the trials are over and Saddam Hussein has benn sentenced to death by hanging. This is to be carried out within thirty days. Enough said there later.
